------
Nation: Russia (Take note that I'm Fem Russia)
Name: Anya Braginskaya
Nickname: Roshiko
Height: 5'7ft
Hair: long beige-blond hair
Eyes: lilac
-Date of birth:
December 30 (This date corresponds with the date that Soviet Union was founded)
-Personality/Interests:
Anya a very seemingly bighearted and innocent, but in reality is emotionally unstable mother rather than childish cruelty. She's capable of being incredibly cruel-minded, though Anya herself is not aware of this. She comes off intimidating without even saying anything. When she's upset she starts to chant "kolkolkol" which she uses to frighten/threaten others into submission. Her childhood was tough, troubled, and full of forced servitude, bullying and constant pursuing by other countries.
She was always tormented since she was a child, because of the seeing of many wars and tragedies she was cracked mentality. Her gentle smile and disposition only intensifying the aura of dread that seems to be always hanging over her. According to Lithuania, she seems to be calm at the strangest moments and times. She could also be described as gentle and naive, not so much malicious, just extremely scary. She's quick to forgive and is always looking for friends. Though she is shy and unsociable around people she doesn't consider friends. This is not a problem though, because she considers everyone her friend~.
-For your information:
Russia greets one another by kissing on the lips. So if she tries to "greet" you, let it happen... It's from a cute girl anyway~.
-Relationships:
Belarus:
Belarus is Anya's younger brother. She truly loves him, but is deeply scared of him. Belarus wants to marry her always saying "Marry me, marry me, marry me!" repeatedly and chasing her around. Anya only sees him as a younger sibling, nothing more and nothing less. Though, she can't seem to get that through his thick head.
China:
Though She and China had a close relationship throughout their history, China seems very suspicious and fearful of her, especially after the Sino-Soviet Split. In return , Anya has been shown to stalk China, especially when disguised in a panda suit~.
Lithuania:
In the past, Lithuania was Russia's subordinate and is not-too-subtly hinted to be a victim of her abuse. She only wishes that Lithuania, along with the rest of the world, was "one with Russia". When she visited America, who was taking care of Lithuania after WWI, she had told America to be good to her 'ex,' but during the Great Depression, Lithuania returned to Anya's home. Once, Russia listened to Lithuania's dreams and went so far as to share her own of "living in a warm place with sunflowers"; soon after, Russia allowed Lithuania to fall asleep on her shoulder, though she replaced herself with a panda when Lithuania woke up the second time.
Poland:
She's been arguing with him since the early 1600s, when Poland succeeded in capturing Moscow. Russia's revenge for this was taking part, together with Prussia and Austria, in the partitions of Poland. In 1939, Anya decided to partition Poland again, this time in conjunction with Germany. Their relationship was further soured by the years of post-war Soviet domination.
(Also it should be noted that Poland is not afraid of Russia; he actively defends Lithuania from Russia, despite the inherent threat.)
Ukraine:
Ukraine is Anya older brother, who acted as a father figure to both her and Belarus. He was also the one who gave Anya her scarf. Though Ukraine wants to be with her again, he either winds up running away at the chance due to the issues that arisen between them (such as paying for gas), or due to being blocked from seeing her in some way (such as his boss prohibiting him from giving Russia anything). In her own way, Anya also cares about him, describing him in quite fond terms.
(Also note that Ukraine and Belarus are males through Anya's eyes, though if we're Rping I don't care if the both of then are females.)
General Winter:
General Winter haunts and attacks Anya every year, which has caused her to hate the snow. However, in the face of war, General Winter is her best ally.
-Likes:
•Vodka. Loves it! Considers it her "fuel" and whenever she does something vodka is tied in some way~
•Sunflowers. Anya grew up around them. Her and her brothers often played in sunflower fields and one day wishes to live near them.
•Her Scarf. Her brother, Ukraine hand made it for her. She never takes it off saying she'll feel naked without it. She also says that it's her other "limb."
-Dislikes
•Snow and coldness.
•Though she doesn't dislike her younger brother Belarus, she dislikes him saying/scaring her to "marry him."
Dreams: Russia dreams of living in a warm place surrounded by sunflowers.
Note: She doesn't Carry around a pipe, but rather a shovel. Also I haven't read the manga, but planing too. So if you make a reference to the manga I might not know what you mean. And if there's anything you like to know about my character, just ask me! c:
